So, now Gordon Smith is trying to associate himself with Barack Obama. It's cute that he thinks he's so great at "working across the isle". The problem is that I don't want a senator who will have to "work across the isle" to get anything done with the environment, health care, civil rights, education, or just to get us the hell out of Iraq.

This was just a horrifying thing to say.
Kerry drew about 50,000 people in 2004. And that was when he already had the nomination. I was in Portland today too. I'm a little ticked I didn't find the time to show up.
